Final Sale Policy
All sales are considered final unless the item arrives defective, damaged, or affected during shipping.
Because Garage Tested offers free shipping and works to keep product pricing simple and affordable, we do not accept returns or issue refunds for general change-of-mind reasons.
We do not offer refunds or returns for:
- Change of mind
- Buyer’s remorse
- Ordering the wrong item
- No longer needing the item
- Minor shipping delays
- Incorrect shipping information provided by the customer
- Items that have been used, installed, modified, or damaged after delivery
- Minor packaging damage that does not affect the product itself
Damaged, Defective, or Shipping-Affected Items
If your item arrives damaged, defective, or affected during shipping, please contact us as soon as possible so we can review the issue.
To submit a claim, you must provide:
- Your order number
- A clear description of the issue
- Clear photos or videos showing the damage or defect
- Photos of the packaging if the package arrived damaged
- Any other details that may help us review the claim
Once your claim is reviewed, Garage Tested may offer one of the following solutions, depending on the situation:
- A replacement item
- Store credit
- A partial refund
- A full refund
The solution offered will depend on the condition of the item, the issue reported, and the evidence provided.
Reporting Timeframe
Damaged, defective, or shipping-affected items must be reported within 7 days of delivery.
Claims submitted after 7 days may not be eligible for a refund, replacement, or store credit.
We recommend inspecting your order as soon as it arrives.
Return Eligibility
If a return is approved by Garage Tested, the item must be returned in its original condition whenever possible.
Approved return items should include:
- The original product
- All included parts and accessories
- Manuals or inserts, if included
- Original packaging, when available
Items may not qualify for a refund, replacement, or store credit if they have been:
- Used
- Installed
- Altered
- Damaged after delivery
- Returned with missing parts or accessories
Please do not send any item back without contacting us first. Unauthorized returns may not be accepted.
Return Shipping
If an item is confirmed to be defective, damaged, or affected during shipping, Garage Tested will review the case and determine the appropriate next step.
Depending on the situation, return shipping instructions may be provided. In some cases, a return may not be required if sufficient photo or video evidence is provided.
Garage Tested is not responsible for return shipping costs unless otherwise confirmed by our support team.
Refund Processing
If a refund is approved, it will be processed back to the original payment method used at checkout.
Please allow time for your bank, credit card provider, or payment processor to complete the refund after it has been issued.
Refund processing times may vary depending on your financial institution.
Free Shipping
Garage Tested offers free shipping on eligible orders.
Free shipping does not mean that delivery times are guaranteed. Shipping times are estimates only and may vary depending on order volume, carrier delays, customs processing, weather, incorrect addresses, or other factors outside of our control.
Shipping Time Disclaimer
We do our best to process and ship orders as quickly as possible. Most orders are delivered within a reasonable timeframe, and many arrive faster than expected.
However, Garage Tested does not guarantee exact shipping or delivery dates.
Refunds will not be issued solely because an order arrives later than expected, unless the item is confirmed lost or there is another issue that qualifies under this policy.
Lost or Missing Packages
If your tracking shows that your package was delivered but you did not receive it, please check with:
- Other members of your household
- Neighbours
- Your building concierge or front desk
- Your local mail carrier or delivery provider
Garage Tested is not responsible for packages marked as delivered by the shipping carrier. However, you may contact us and we will do our best to help guide you through the next steps.
If a package appears to be lost in transit, please contact us so we can review the tracking information and assist where possible.
Incorrect or Incomplete Shipping Address
Customers are responsible for entering the correct shipping address at checkout.
Garage Tested is not responsible for orders delayed, lost, or delivered incorrectly due to an incorrect or incomplete address provided by the customer.
If you notice an address mistake after placing your order, please contact us as soon as possible. We will do our best to update the address before the order is processed or shipped, but we cannot guarantee changes once the order has been submitted.
Order Cancellations
Orders may not be cancellable once they have been processed, packed, or shipped.
If you need to cancel an order, please contact us as soon as possible. If the order has not yet been processed, we may be able to cancel it. If the order has already been processed or shipped, it will be handled according to this Return and Refund Policy.
Exchanges
We do not offer exchanges for change-of-mind reasons.
If your item arrives damaged, defective, or affected during shipping, we may provide a replacement depending on the situation and product availability.
